Board Design: Dalek Sound System
Nick Maley is an Electrical Engineer with Ologic in Santa Clara who has a love for robotics and fabrication. He is responsible for all the electronics inside the Dalek, from designing, building and programming the PCB boards to designing and implementing the overall electrical architecture. Nick’s love for robotics started back in 6th grade in 2011 when he joined his local middle school’s FLL robotics team, continuing through high school when during his final year in 2018 he and his team went on to place 16th in their division at the Vex Robotics Worlds Championship. He went on to do a B.Sc in Electrical Engineering at CalPoly SLO. He worked for Thorsson and Associates previously, doing the electronic control systems for a concept robot to be used in a film. Shawn at T&A also brought him on-board as a volunteer for Magic Wheelchair builds in his free time. Nick is an avid gamer.
