Nick Maley is a recent (June 2023) B.Sc (Electrical Engineering) graduate from CalPoly, San Luis Obispo, In recent days while looking for a job, he has been preparing the Dalek for a new round at MakerFaire. He has re-done the electronics inside the Dalek, helped clean up the wiring, and rebuild the outer structure.
Nick’s been involved with competitive robotics since back in 6th grade in 2011 when he joined his local middle school’s FLL robotics team, continuing throughout the four years of high school when during his final year in 2018 he and his team went on to place 16th in their division at the Vex Robotics Worlds Championship.
Nick is currently looking for a position in Marin/San Francisco/East Bay as an Electrical Engineer, focusing on electronics. You can find his resume at
